No More Roof Maintenance Problems With A New Roof In Glen Forrest Perth

We have just completed a roof replacement in the Perth Hills suburb of Glen Forrest, changing from cement tiles to Colorbond. The owner no longer wanted the roof maintenance problems associated with broken tiles, cracked ridge caps and subsequent leaks and couldn’t wait to see them off the roof and thrown in the bin (hence the photo of the tiles in the truck!).

The owner said it seemed every time anyone went up on the roof they would break tiles and then the next rain would highlight yet more roof leaks. The owner also wanted to remove the evaporative air conditioner and disused solar hot water system to minimise the need for anyone to access the roof.
 
So with the wall to roof tie downs installed, the roof tiles, tile battens and old sarking was removed, new battens, anticon and heavy duty (thicker gauge steel) roof sheeting was installed.

The new Colorbond roof has transformed the look of the house and will provide decades of leak free service for our very happy client.
