The process of replacing your roof involves several steps:

  1. Installation of scaffolding, edge-protection or anchor points depending on the height and ability to access the roof.
  2. Delivery of waste disposal services. Ensure bin is located in convenient area and won’t damage paving or driveways or obstruct access to property.
  3. Remove and dispose of roofing material in a systematic manner, in stages so that the roof is not left uncovered for extended periods.
  4. Install new roof battens if required, ensuring spacing is correct for the appropriate roofing material to be installed.
  5. Replace guttering and downpipes, if requested.
  6. Install engineered approved roof tie-down anchors into the wall cavity. This ensures the new roof won’t lift in windy conditions when tiles are replaced with metal roof sheeting
  7. Install roof blanket anti-condensation insulation if requested.  This insulation is installed directly under the sheet to provide heat and sound insulation and prevent condensation forming on the underside of the roof sheeting.
  8. Install new tiles or fit new genuine Zincalume®, or Colorbond® roof sheeting from Bluescope Steel (Australian Made).  Zincalume or galvanized sheeting is traditionally used on older roofs in keeping with the style of the era, and Colorbond® can be used on both older and newer roofs in any choice of Colorbond® colours.
  9. Install ridge capping, flashings, and vents where required.
  10. Leave property clean and tidy, customer happy and roof looking amazing.
We love seeing the conversion from old to new and so will you.
The transformation is incredible!
